Local Speed Survey

Dear Resident

PCSO 40373 was out in the Maesbrook area this morning between 10.35 & 11.05 conducting a speed survey.

16 vehicles were checked with the mean average speed of 36mph.

The stretch of road is the main road through Maesbrook, the speed limit is 40mph and there is a VAS (vehicle activated sign) at either end of the village. 

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
